That feeling where the sun bakes your skin ever so slightly and you’re sipping on a nice cold coconut feni (a local drink that is quintessential to a visit in Goa) by the beach ?! The Goan life suits me well.
I can’t help but smile every time I think of my trips to Goa, which have been quite a few in the past couple years.
When I visit home, it is an easy destination to get to, being only an hour long flight from Bombay. It makes for the perfect family getaway as you spend your time lounging around, going to the spa and catching a nice tan. This time around I had the pleasure of staying at Grand Hyatt Goa that quickly became my favorite hotel in Goa to date. The property is like being on a mysterious island and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best time.
I thought I’d create a three part series for you of all the little nooks and corners at this hotel that stole my heart. First up we have the “square” that I stayed in and the gardens that overlooked the beach. I felt like the property transported me to another time. There was a sort of homage to the pirate days.
I wore a teal Gucci dress that I had bought just before my trip and I was surprised by how functional it was with it’s hidden pockets and cute print on print detail. Halter dresses are always a great feminine option as they show off collar bones and are comfortable for layering as it gets colder in the evenings on the beach. I styled it simply with lace espadrilles and a wide brimmed straw hat.
Who’s excited for Spring dressing?
