Payal Singhal has found that happy medium between the two in her luxe printed silks. I love deconstructing indian outfits and pairing them with simple pieces from my everyday wardrobe. I liked the idea of wearing this silk skirt with a tshirt for a mehendi or sangeet or simply to dinner or the opera. Crop tops and blazers are another great alternative to this look.

On a side note, I have been busy moving apartments and am thinking of sharing some before and after shots with you.
